Job Title: Boardman

Summary:Production Boardman will be responsible for handling DCS operation of assignment unit related to P1, P2, P3, C1, C2, Utility unit and ensure smooth operation in term of safety, quality, reliability and productivity in their respective area.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for DCS daily operation in assignment area.

• Ensure safe operation by work under EHS rule and regulation and promote the EHS awareness.

• Perform start up and shut down process via DCS system based on guideline/work instruction

• Monitoring, control and adjust process parameter/condition base on guild line to ensure smooth operation, comply with safety and make the good product quality.

• Monitoring and control process condition of Utility unit to ensure utility supply to production process meet the requirement and no concern to safety/environment.

• Lead for process trouble shooting though DCS system.

• Co-operation with technician & packing operator for daily work & activity related to DCS system.

• Follow production planning and ensure products ship to customer on time with the right quantity.

• Perform SAP transaction to complete the process order after finished production and other, which related to production management ex. Stock monitoring, stock movement, etc.

• Workers who carry out processes involving highly hazardous chemicals need to be well-trained, and their training should have been accomplished through a competent source, first-party or otherwise.

• Participation in every aspect of the PSM programs at their respective worksites.

• Periodic, documented inspections are required for several systems, including Pressure vessels, Storage tanks, Piping systems, Ventilation systems

• Record and keep relevant document in place

• Monitoring & control inventory in assigned unit

• Raise up the concern, suggestion and improvement idea which related to EHS, quality, reliability and productivity to improve safety and operation related

• Raise up the incident case or near miss and participate for investigation (if require)

• Supervise technician/packing operator under assignment area to ensure safe operation, deliver good quality of product and ensure deliver the product as plan.

• Other assignment jobs.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

• High Vocational in Chemical, Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Production Technology or related fields.

• At least 5 years working experiences in operation field (or at least 2 years working in Momentive production).

• Computer literacy

• Fair command of English

• Safety consciousness

• Background from chemical industry or polymer/plastic is preferred

• Knowledge & experience in DCS system is advantage

• Knowledge of Management System, e.g. ISO9001, ISO140001 and OHSAS18001 is advantage

• Good work discipline and hands-on
