Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal, Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Raymond, MN. From: 09/15/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 9 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 10/31/2024 JOB DUTIES: Assist with preparing fields for planting, attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, irrigation equipment, operate other farm equipment, engage in planting, weeding, spraying and/or harvesting activities, spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers, load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers, observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions, load crops and unload crops, operate equipment to harvest crops, complete general maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment, drive pickup truck to haul crops, supplies, and tools. All work-related tools, equipment and supplies will be provided by the employer. Crops: Corn, Soybeans and Sugarbeets JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (2) months experience required. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must have a driver's license. Post-hire criminal background check and drug screen required. No High School Diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
