• We are recruiting for a Materials Manager position for a client in West Virginia, this client is a global metal manufacturer supplying aerospace, automotive, and other industries. This client has been named on the Forbes List of 'Best Workplaces for Women' along with Time's "Best Places to Work" in 2023. The West Virginia facility employs roughly 1100 and is undergoing many ongoing capital improvement projects. This client believes in on the job mentoring and advancement from within whenever feasible, company culture is high on their priority list as well. The Material Manager will:

• Oversee metal flow operations, including receiving raw material, reducing scrap, and overseeing internal recycling loops in the plant

• Ensure effective metal flow internally throughout operations

• Develop and improve value creation working closely on strategic initiatives of the plant, corporate, and departmental objectives

• Work closely with supply and purchasing to monitor inventory, including closely monitoring sales forecasts on a bimonthly basis

• Ensure quality of product received and coming in and out of the recycling process

• Ensure inventory levels are maintained adequately, preventing loss of production time

• Oversee 4 direct reports and 65 indirect reports, including 5 supervisors and unionized laborers

• Ensure safety and adhere to safety and environmental regulations and internal standards Candidates must possess for consideration:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering

• Prior metals flow experience

• Prior supervisory experience - unionized workforce desired This position offers a salary of $120-135K with full benefits, including automatic and matching 401K plan, bonus eligibility, relocation assistance available, health, prescription, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance benefits.

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
