We are searching for the best talent for a CAR-T Vein to Vein (V2V) Logistics Lead!

The CAR-T V2V Logistics Lead is responsible for working with the business process experts to support end-to-end logistics and process improvements, logistic issue and investigation management, and transportation supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transportation supplier relationships, collaborating with external partners for issue resolution and process improvements

  • Coordinate E2E trade compliance activities to ensure correct and smooth customs processes

  • Manage global freight pay process, standing up new markets, and managing overall V2V transportation spend

  • Partner with Procurement to identify transportation trends, issues, and opportunities to be communicated in business review meetings

  • Handle all logistics issue resolution activities, including quality-event investigations related to the completion of routine CAR-T Cell Collection, V2V Distribution, Chain of Custody/Chain of Identity, and Temperature related Quality Investigations

  • Proactively work with team members to ensure the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions

  • Implement effective corrective and preventative actions to avoid recurrence of issues

  • Work closely with management to propose/complete improvements activities

  • Develop team members to take ownership of Roles & Responsibilities for patient journey & experience

  • Represent the department in interdepartmental meetings in support of process improvement initiatives

  • Demonstrate ability to respond swiftly to departmental and interdepartmental needs and requests

  • Perform tasks in a manner consistent with the safety policies, quality systems, and cGMP requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University degree required; focused degree preferred in Biology, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or equivalent technical subject area

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience

  • Work experience in Supply Chain Operations, Transportation, Distribution, or related operations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment

  • Highly organized and capable of working on a cross-functional team with optimism and positivity

  • Practical knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting investigations

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Logistics

  • Experience in distribution compliance processes or trade compliance processes

  • Familiarity with Freight Pay Systems, Trackwise (quality event management), or equivalent systems

  • Knowledge of National and International manufacturing regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA/EU guidance)

  • Experience in QC methods, transportation temperature management, cell therapy, or Research & Development

Other:

  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$91,000 to $147,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
