Sodexo is seeking a Campus Dining General Manager 4 for The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology located in Rapid City, SD - overseeing day to day dining operations including Student Dining - HardRocker Cafe, multiple food retail operations (Einstein's Bagels, Miner's Shack (C Store) and Campus Catering and concessions. Located in the beautiful Black Hills and Badlands (https://www.blackhillsbadlands.com/) of western South Dakota, home to iconic natural wonders, rich history, and unforgettable adventures.

As the General Manager - Dining , you will have oversight of Dining Operations on campus . Successful candidates will have the knowledge of HACCP and safety standards, ability to control cost of goods and train staff on proper standards. Candidates should also have working knowledge of scheduling, cost control and food service operations. Seeking candidates with the ability to drive and foster an innovative team while managing high volume, and ability to work well with management team and staff.

• proven success managing large dining operations and budgets - experience in University Dining strongly preferred.

• have a history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, a Hands-On- Manager who is a Coach and Mentor.

• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.

• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.

• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed, and

• demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
