Position Overview:The main responsibility of this role is to oversee the management and maintenance of all equipment at the manufacturing facilities for Phos-Chek Long Term Fire Retardants and Foams in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and McClellan, CA, along with supporting tolling partners at multiple locations. The Maintenance Foreman is tasked with ensuring optimal equipment performance, implementing maintenance best practices, and managing the Fiix CMMS asset program. All activities conducted by the Maintenance Foreman must adhere to Perimeter Solutions' EHandS policies in a professional, safe, and efficient manner. We are currently seeking a dedicated shop foreman to supervise daily operations at our company. This role involves overseeing personnel, managing capital investment projects, equipment management and maintenance, operational efficiency, inventory management, and enforcement of safety regulations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities. A successful shop foreman should be able to proactively identify and address obstacles to operational efficiency.

This Position Reports To:Director of Operations and Supply Chain for the Americas

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies.

Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline maintenance processes and minimize costs.

Supervise and oversee all maintenance operations to guarantee seamless functioning of the manufacturing facility.

Develop and execute project plans for larger capital investment projects.

Create and enforce maintenance schedules and protocols to enhance equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Manage a team of maintenance technicians, offering mentorship, training, and assistance to foster skill development and high performance.

Collaborate with production and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal operational disruptions.

Implement and oversee the Fiix CMMS asset program to monitor, manage, and optimize asset performance effectively.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into the CMMS, including work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment records.

Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, predict equipment failures, and recommend improvements to maintenance processes.

Train and support maintenance staff in the effective use of the CMMS.

Generate and present regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and key metrics to management.

Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services and materials.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements as needed.

  • Attends daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime

Supervising and training staff.

Creating and managing the staff, maintenance, and work schedules.

Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations.

Enforcing safety regulations and protocols.

Conducting performance reviews with staff.

Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies.

Imp ementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.

Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.

Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.

Performing administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Commitment to always working in safe manner and follow company policies for your own personal safety as well as those that you work with and instruct

10 years of experience in the areas of responsibility stated above

Excellent organizational skills

A great understanding of work optimization techniques

Willingness to work over-time when needed

Willingness to be On-Call when needed

Travel may be required to Airbases and other manufacturing sites to help oversee equipment install and trouble shooting

Be courteous and enjoy working with others and treat all with respect regardless of position
