Insight Global Epic Prelude Analyst in Rancho Cordova, California

Job Description

* Build, test, document and implement user enhancement, issue resolution, new reports creation and various other project request. Working directly with subject matter experts (SME) and other application teams.

* Successfully implement enhancement, workflows, build documentation, reports and project request to the level of customer satisfaction.

* Represent milestones and deliverable to a level of satisfaction. Maintaining project timeline and issue list highlighting prioritization, resolution, and comments.

* Request Supplier to provide data type, protected health information and other data.

* Performs needs assessment (identification of functional and system requirements) for complex workflows, customers, and/or areas.

* Participate in operational, system and customer acceptance planning and testing, supporting full end-to-end deployment of clinical and front-end operations.

* Conduct unit tests, component integration tests, systems and acceptance testing, correct problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to the test plan and functional requirements for supporting applications.

Skills and Requirements

* Must hold current Epic certifications for Epic Prelude

* Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

* 3-5 years of Epic Prelude implementation and technical support.

* 3-5 years working knowledge of project management toolset.

* 3 years of experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development.

* 3 years of build experience in multiple Epic applications with proven flexibility when challenged with resolving complex issues that go beyond Epic Foundation Build. (Epic Ambulatory a plus)

* Experience creating and managing time schedules, managing multiple activities and priorities, and maintaining productivity.

* Experience with SDLC, project management tools and methodologies with proven competency in Clinical Care operations.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.)

* Experience serving as a technical leader and information resource to clinical users and management, providing guidance and recommendations on optimal strategies and policies for quality, efficiency, and functionality improvement of clinical information systems.

* Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to convey highly technical information to all levels of clinical users and staff.

Paying 65-85/hr depending on experience. null
