In the email subject line, include “Live-In Nanny.”Live-In Nanny sought by The Lynches in Ramsey, NJ, to care for three young children. 40 hrs/wk, starting as early as 6 am and finishing as late as 8 pm some days of the week.Duties include: Assisting with the morning, afternoon, and evening routines, including helping with breakfast, lunch, and dinner; getting ready for school; driving the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and doctor's appointments; and preparing snacks and lunchboxes. Preparing baby bottles, including washing and sterilizing, according to parents' recommendations. Preparing appropriate meals for the baby transitioning to solid foods. Changing diapers. Bathing children at least once daily. Supervising baby during tummy time, crawling, and walking. Maintaining diaper supplies and replenishing diaper bags as necessary. Tending to the general and basic needs of the children while providing supervision to ensure the children's safety in day-to-day activities. Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities—including free play, arts and crafts, games, math, and reading. In case of illness or injury, providing the necessary medical attention, for example, closely monitoring the children's symptoms and health concerns, taking their temperature, and administering medications as directed. Collaborating closely with the children's parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Instructing the children on proper health and personal care habits, such as diet, exercise, and toilet behavior; assisting as needed. Assigning chores as appropriate to teach the children responsibility, self-control, and self-confidence. Creating a safe environment for the children by removing hazards and enforcing appropriate boundaries. Cleaning up (vacuum/sweep/wipe down) areas the children utilize. Performing housekeeping tasks related to the children's care, such as doing laundry, folding clothes, washing dishes, and changing children's linens once a week. Organizing the children's closet, drawers, and toys. Assisting with homework for school-aged children.
