Essential Job Duties:

Research Assistant for the GenX Exposure Study. We are looking for a person to help organize our field collection events in four different locations in the next 3 months. The person will NOT need to attend these events, but will be critical to:

scheduling appointments with study participants,

creating an appointment calendar in google calendar

populating google calendar from survey information

calling people who have not scheduled to schedule them

emailing reminders to study participants

Prepare paperwork for field events

Make copies

Print participant specific labels

Schedule hotel rooms for field teams. Assist with travel arrangements (e.g, carpools).

Organize materials for field events. Help pack up equipment and paperwork.

Upon completion of field events, help clean up, document current inventory, and prep for next field event.

The project requires human subjects training. This can be completed on the first day.

The job will be in person on the Centennial campus on NC State.

Organized, flexible, able to talk to people, good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with google sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to purchase things in Marketplace and file travel authorizations, interested in human subjects research.
