Department: 480501 - HR University Temporary Services (UTS)

Location: Raleigh, NC

Essential Job Duties:

Day to day duties will include but not limited to:

  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment, supplies, and pens according to standards.

  • Operates pressure washers and foamers to sanitize and sterilize husbandry equipment,

  • parts, and supplies.

  • Break down and setup poultry houses pre and post cleaning.

  • Performs routine maintenance and/or basic mechanical repair to poultry houses, hatchery

  • and processing equipment. (painting, minor repairs)

  • Lawn care, building, and grounds maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with power wash equipment

  • Proficiency in painting buildings and minor repairs

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Animal husbandry experience’

  • Must be able to lift feed bags that weigh up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific poultry experience is desired.
