We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to help us take our internal Lucid systems to the next level. In this role, you would be responsible for the administration of the systems associated with Lucid’s internal tools and billing infrastructure. You will be responsible for learning the systems and understanding how they all work together. You’ll work with our IT, Engineering, Sales and Finance teams to support the infrastructure that is critical to transact with Lucid. You’ll do periodic reviews of the systems to ensure we’re using best practices as well as identify opportunities to better utilize the systems.
Responsibilities:
Working with internal business partners and external vendors to deliver solutions that bring value to our billing and payments ecosystem
Plan and prioritize work across multiple projects, and communicate priority to relevant stakeholders
Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development
Partner with engineering and business systems teams to help guide billing and payments solutions
Partner with internal business partners in Accounting, Finance, Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs
Generalize solutions to work across many platforms and geographies while still meeting the needs of customers
Collaborate with project leaders to build trusted relationships by understanding their perspectives and issues
Work closely with and lead cross functional teams to manage multiple priorities and projects
Communicate with leadership regarding status, risks, and recommendations for current projects
Requirements:
5+ years of Product Management experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with integrations between ERP, CRM, and billing & payment systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Deep understanding of SaaS and PLG business models
Technical proficiency in working with engineering teams to implement several API integrations
Experience in: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report
Act as the technical subject matter expert for all things billing and payments
General knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements for payment processing and billing systems
Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and innovative
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture
Track record of improving core business metrics, especially in SaaS
Track record of managing core business systems at scale
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with subscription billing and recurring revenue models
Knowledge of international payment processing
Experience implementing payment and billing systems that support both self-serve and sales assisted SaaS subscriptions
Experience with IT Sox
Experience with Recurly, Netsuite, Salesforce, and Avalara
CSPO Certification
