Insight Global Senior ServiceNow Developer in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Description

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for working with the Platform Owner and other members of the team to provide development and day-to-day support of ServiceNow and its related services. This position will also work with the software vendors to plan and implement enhancements and upgrades to the software infrastructure.

Duties include, but are not limited, to:

 Build solutions that are requested by the product Architect that meet detailed requirements as outlined by our business analysts

 Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to gather and document requirements for new ServiceNow functionalities

 Work hands on with ServiceNow administration to build complex objects behind the scenes that support operational workflows, performing any scripting necessary to support a live production environment

 Write server-side and client-side scripts in JavaScript to automate and streamline processes within the ServiceNow platform

 Support integrations with other technologies by working with developers for other products as well as the Integration Data Management team

 Review existing functionality and/or processes and identify areas that improve scalability and performance

 Ensure adherence to best practices, maintain system documentation, and recommend improvements to existing processes

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of ServiceNow Development experience

 Experience working with the HRSD Module within SNOW

o HRSD Lifecycle Events/Lifecycle Events Cases

o Onboarding and Offboarding

o Employee Service Center/Service Portals

o Integrations with 3rd party systems

o User account creation/maintenance

 Experience integrating ServiceNow HRSD Module into existing applications

 Scripting experience using JavaScript

 Experience working with custom applications within ServiceNow Previous government experience null
