We are seeking a Senior Digital Product Owner to help further the growth and improvement of our foundational digital experiences. In addition to story writing and developing a strategic roadmap for the product, the PO will support one to two development squads through the iterative development of world class products. The successful candidate will understand the broad landscape of the enterprise and provide prioritization to the team by coordinating all the moving pieces to allow the team to focus on execution while maximizing customer and business value.

The Senior Digital Product Owner should understand technology and become well acquainted with Ally design standards as they will be responsible for proper alignment. Overall, the PO will need to be a strategic partner with a focus on relationship building and on relentless passion for our customers.

The Work Itself

  • Create experiential requirements and collaborate with technical architects, engineers, and designers to translate experiential product requirements into technical specifications and user stories. Support elaboration and refinement sessions to ensure experiential requirements are met.  
  • Create and monitor product score card, analyzing product performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Monitor VOC and replay sessions to identify customer friction and opportunities for optimization.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, goals, and strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
  • Lead the product discovery process, leveraging technology trends and insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop and maintain a technology-driven product roadmap and digital strategy in partnership with business and tech partners, incorporating emerging technologies and industry best practices such as AI.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business objectives and priority, technical feasibility, scalability, dependency management, and potential impact on user experience. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features, adhering to Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Be a strategic thinker and relationship builder to evangelize our portfolio to both business leaders and technologists to ensure adoption across the enterprise and to realize the full potential of the strategy.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment. Experience in banking or other highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • Ability to operate in environment with changing priorities and objectives, can self-manage teams and products while clearly articulating recommendations and vision to leadership
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficiency in technical concepts and frameworks, with the ability to effectively communicate with development teams.
  • Experience with technology tools and platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, DevOps, Launch Darkly, Splunk is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, including frontend and backend API development frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence technologies is preferred.

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 85000

Experienced: 117500

Expert: 150000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
