Robert Half Office Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27607, United States. This role is pivotal in our commercial construction company, coordinating all administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The Office Manager will manage administrative staff, oversee department decisions and processes, and implement organizational strategies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running of the office.

• Manage databases, company records, and update project reports.

• Organize office layout, maintain supplies, and implement new policies and procedures to maintain office efficiency.

• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring all items are invoiced and paid on time.

• Provide general support to visitors and manage internal staff relations.

• Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance.

• Organize company events, meetings, and employee team building activities or special projects.

• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease.

• Manage executive schedules and travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.

• Keep an inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed.

Skills:

• Administrative Office

• Administrative Assistance

• Construction Applications Software Requirements • Proficient in Administrative Office and Administrative Assistance tasks

• Experience in managing office operations and procedures

• Familiarity with Construction Applications Software

• Ability to delegate tasks and ensure their completion in a timely manner

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in managing office budgets and expenses

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
