This position is responsible for new account development and/or growing existing accounts within an established geographic or named account territory, specifically for Federal, State & Local Government and Education.

Detailed Description:

A License Platform OD Sales Representative works to identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end License products and solutions across infrastructure and platform. Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory.

  • Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies.

  • Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications.

  • Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. Drives company strategy into assigned accounts.

  • Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.

  • Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.

  • Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals for on-premise software and infrastructure solutions.

Sales Portfolio:

Infrastructure - A comprehensive set of converged infrastructure services that enable businesses to run any workload in an enterprise environment and supported by Oracle.

Platform - Oracle Platform helps enterprise IT developers rapidly build and deploy rich applications - or extend Oracle software apps - using an enterprise-grade platform based on Oracle’s industry leading database and security products for open source application code development.

Job Requirements:

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very sophisticated, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 4-8 years meaningful work experience. BS/BA preferred as well as strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with deep understanding of TCO and return on investment analysis and presentation skills adaptive to our new environment. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expertise is a must to direct a team to help close sophisticated enterprise transactions.

Responsibilities

As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Apply inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $20.24 to $31.68 per hour; from $42,100 to $65,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50 - 65/35.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
