Marketing Automation Specialist

Job summary

The Red Hat Partner Ecosystem Team is looking for an Email Automation Specialist to join our Partner Ecosystem team. In this role, you’ll work with our team to design, develop, implement, and optimize email nurture experiences in support of partner engagement and digital acceleration mostions, as well as recruitment and acquisition goals. As the email automation specialist , you will act as a technical subject matter expert advising on best practices and building the specified journeys and experiences, including working with data and segmentation, marketing and operations teams, and development teams to integrate email experiences with our data platforms and other tools in our MarTech solution stack and activate experiences that engage our partners and support their relationship growth and development with Red Hat.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Marketo is the email automation tool we are presently implementing. In this role, you will function as the Marketo implementation and utilization expert

  • Our team will continue to leverage the existing instance of Eloqua to design and implement journey canvases that utilize dynamic content and action triggers until Marketo is fully implemented.

  • Work with data scientist and digital strategists on contact/data segmentation for nurture lists

  • Work with data scientist and digital strategists to implement brand best practices into email templates to support brand compliance

  • Provide email metrics and insights for read-outs covering campaigns’ performance results, and deliver optimization recommendations and strategies to leadership and stakeholders

  • Contribute to on-going marketing planning and optimization initiatives as related to email nurture across all identified audiences in support of identified OKRs

  • Partner with marketing technology and operations teams to continue on-going optimization, contribute to the in-house email marketing expertise, and drive on-going success of the nurture experiences in support of the Partner Ecosystem goals

  • Lead efficient meetings, explain data and technical details to non-technical audiences, and balance collaboration with getting-things-don e

Required skills

  • 5+ years experience in Marketo implementation, campaign development and execution, and on-going optimization

  • Eloqua experience is a plus, as we will utilize this platform until the Marketo implementation is complete in 1H25

  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and efficiencies

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Knowledge of integration with other MarTech solutions stack tools is important to this role

  • Knowledge of email/nurture analytics and reporting

  • Ability to take initiative and be a resourceful, proactive, independent contributor, and cross-functional collaborator

  • Ability to lead strategic and operational conversations to address evolving business requirements across stakehold ers

  • Marketo certification is preferred

  • HTML/CSS and Adobe experience is a plus

The salary range for this position is $103,290.00 - $170,500.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
