The HR Specialist is an onsite position supporting UNC Rex HR operations and provides an exciting opportunity to partner with our HR Business Partner team to drive HR initiatives. This role will provide support with running, manipulating, and analyzing HR reports, monitoring workforce trends related to retention and turnover, developing PowerPoints for senior level presentations, processing HR transactions, and providing administrative support to the HR Director and CHRO. This role requires a minimum of intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.

The schedule will be onsite, Monday – Thursday each week (32 hours a week).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with running, reviewing and manipulating Excel reports through iNFOR Global HR Analytics (GHR) such as headcount and location reports, teammate birthday lists, MD PTO frontload, etc.

  • Pull HR analytics from Reveal and Tableau, incorporating SHARE results as well as Press Gainey patient satisfaction data for entity departments on a routine cadence for HRBPs; assist in identifying employment trends for notification to HRBP.

  • Utilize iNFOR GHR to track Clinical Nurse Is to ensure promotion to Clinical Nurse II at appropriate time. Submit promotion list to HR Data Management for processing and notify department managers.

  • Assists with developing PowerPoints for senior level presentations.

  • Provide administrative support to CHRO & HR Director including utilizing Outlook to schedule meetings and room reservations for vendor events, internal meetings, etc.

  • Process invoices through iNFOR Financial & Supply Management system by requesting POs and submitting invoices for payment

  • Assists in preparing for Joint Commission or other accreditation surveys by requesting files, printing documents and organizing files for presentation

  • Respond to general Rex HRBP ticket inquiries in a timely manner; coordinate with the HRBP for complex tickets

  • Assist with HRBP iNFOR inbasket to process FTE change requests, ensuring that FTE information is accurately entered and FTE is approved for change

  • Manage office supplies to include ordering and stocking supplies, coordinating deliveries/service schedules, maintenance requests, etc.

  • Work with HRISD to coordinate the processing of mass supervisor changes.

  • Coordinates with HR Service Center for requests for teammate files/other records

  • Enter documents into iNFOR and Onbase as needed

Other Information

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Experience Requirements:

  • If Bachelor's degree – Two (2) years of relevant HR experience.

  • If Associate's degree - Six (6) years of relevant HR experience.

  • If a High School diploma or GED: Ten (10) years of relevant HR experience.
