Aston Carter Entry Level Buyer/Purchaser (Hybrid) in Raleigh, North Carolina
Title: Buyer/Purchaser
We are seeking an entry-level buyer to join our team. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage the procurement of materials needed for heavy equipment assembly. This includes signing change notices and drawings from engineering, sharing drawings with suppliers both internal and external, getting feedback from them on cost, sending RFQs, and tracking them in the database.
The ideal candidate should have data analysis skills, strong task management abilities, and a general understanding of supply chain management. The candidate should be able to work with suppliers to onboard new suppliers, handle all invoicing issues, and adjust cost data entered into the system.
Top candidates will have expertise in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel. The candidate should also be willing to support buyers with negotiation strategies.
