Job Description:

This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. The role may require working directly with a Technology Delivery lead if the project is technology focused or independently if the project is process driven. In such cases, this position must be able to identify the key resources required for the project and ensures that their deliverables are completed to meet the timeline requirements.

This position will in addition require to create/process Change Records, engage BlackBox/Cisco or other external vendors as required in support of the project deliverables to provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, monitors, and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).

  • Takes ownership of the successful implementation of project scope as agreed upon with the Line of Business partners.

  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.

  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.

  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.

  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.

  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.

  • Support resource planning for delivery/execution

  • Documents the success metrics upon project completion

  • Assist in resource financial forecasting and resource planning for delivery/execution

  • Work independently, possess a strong process expertise, demonstrate strategic thinking and tactical planning with a proven ability to turn complex ideas into well-structured processes.

  • Develop concise and succinct presentations that will influence dialogue at all levels including the expertise in knowing the fine balance between detailed and high-level messages.

  • Ask the right questions, using tools and visual materials, to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years prior project management experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience with ITSM/Remedy

  • Working familiarity with JIRA and Agile View

  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving & organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external partners.

  • Ability to manage and shift priorities as needed.

  • Strong risk and governance mindset

  • Process design, remediation, and improvement skills

  • Project Management skills and disciplines

  • Strong relationship management skills to gain buy-in, build consensus and resolve conflicts timely.

  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills in a cross-functional team.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities for concurrent projects effectively.

  • Strong decision-making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely compressed deadlines.

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, determined, and positive – especially under pressure

  • Ability to navigate enterprise, research, and resource information across the bank.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting and participating in technology change efforts in project manager role.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a network or systems engineer delivering infrastructure services such as DNS, Load Balancing, Data Connectivity, Firewall, etc.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

  • Visio and process mapping

  • Working familiarity with PPRT for program and project management

  • Working familiarity with PCM for initiative financial management

  • Working experience with ServiceNow
