Job Description:

The Global Marketing Associate Director, Beef Solutions, will play a vital role within the Animal Health Global Ruminant Marketing Unit. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, Beef Solutions, this individual will be responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction for the Beef Solutions Biopharmaceutical Business worldwide. A key focus will be ensuring alignment with all functions and regions within the organization.

This position, Global Marketing Associated Director, Beef Solutions, will be based in our Global Headquarters in Rahway, New Jersey, USA (Hybrid, 3 days in office, will follow on-site guidance updates).

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the biopharmaceutical franchises in the Beef Solutions portfolio. Including identifying synergies with Technology Solutions, life cycle management, new product launches, diversification, and business development opportunities.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify global opportunities, market trends, and customer needs, and translate findings into actionable marketing plans for our portfolio of Beef cattle vaccines, anti-infectives, anti-inflammatories, performance technologies, and parasite control.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts across all functions and regions.

  • Ensures high-level and detailed customer journeys are developed and fully aligned for internal and external customers and target audiences, reflecting Omni-Channel marketing planning including digital, online, traditional, Influencer, KOL, distribution, Face to Face, point of sale.

  • Create mid to long-term business strategy across the Beef Solutions business and be responsible for maximizing the current portfolio, mainly through solution and services bridging the future needs and today's revenue generation.

  • Create, develop, and deploy global promotional and marketing campaigns and materials for the Beef Solutions portfolio.

  • Coordinate with the Global Technical Directors the necessary Market Support Studies to generate and transfer scientific information into marketing communication assets to drive the strategy for the Beef Solutions portfolio.

  • Identify marketing training needs and developing programs to address gaps in local markets.

  • Be familiar with technology available on beef cattle farms, with a specific focus on electronic identification, monitoring, and automatic insights made available for animal health and animal management.

  • Partners with Marketing Services to ensure effective planning and collaboration in executing omnichannel and e-commerce strategies.

  • Key collaborator in R&D initiatives to drive future pipeline and growth.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Veterinary Medicine, or Animal Science.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Marketing (communications, brand, product, channel, digital marketing) and related sales support activities.

  • Experience in new product launches required.

  • Familiarity of the Animal Health industry or related industry, marketing, and commercial Operations.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing effective marketing and communication plans.

  • Successful track record in creating the best performing Digital Marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong track record of driving financial performance through P&L management, COGS optimization, strategic pricing, and profitability analysis to achieve market competitiveness and growth.

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, relationship building, and the ability to influence within and across organizations.

  • Ability to challenge and drive the organization towards the success of a project.

  • Ability to work in matrix organization and collaborate with people across multiple time zones, functions, and locations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to international audiences.

  • Able to travel up to 20% of time, including to different countries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, MBA or advanced degree in marketing, international business, international marketing strongly desired.

  • Strong life science, Veterinary medicine, animal science, and/or medical marketing experience.

  • People management experience preferred.

  • Multilingual

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:

$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
