Job Summary:

This position is for a Full Time Tenure Track 9-month Assistant Professor position in the College of Nursing at Radford University, providing opportunities for collaborative practice and scholarship with a variety of disciplines within the University. In-person teaching responsibilities for BSN students in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical setting are required. Scholarship and service with the expectation of recent clinical practice are required.

Required Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing with a Doctorate in Nursing or related discipline; or MS in another discipline and Doctorate in Nursing.

• Unencumbered Virginia licensure eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those with the education, experience, certification, and desire to teach undergraduate prelicensure students.

• Prior teaching experience in the classroom, and/or in the clinical setting.

• Certified Nurse Educator ( CNE ).

• Recent clinical experience.
