Radford University Assistant Professor - I/O Psychology in Radford, Virginia

Job Summary:

Radford University, Department of Psychology, College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology starting in August 2024. The area of specialty within I/O psychology is open.

Radford University’s master’s program in I/O has a long history of providing the highest-level master’s education with a focus on real-world application of I/O Psychology principles and skills. To prepare students for the job-market and ensure job-placement, we maintain a strong alumni network. The faculty members in the I/O master’s program and the larger psychology department provide a supportive and collaborative environment for building a successful career.

Candidates must have a strong commitment to both undergraduate and graduate education. The successful applicant will be expected to teach a mix of undergraduate classes (i.e., statistics, research methods, social psychology, intro to I/O psychology, or related courses) and graduate level I/O courses (including, but not limited to, performance appraisal, selection, job analysis, organizational change, training and development). Candidates will also be expected to establish an independent program of research and to participate in departmental, college and university governance.

Candidates should have completed the Ph.D. degree by the August 2024 start date.
