Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Accountant located in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role is essential within the finance team, primarily responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring internal controls for financial reporting, and contributing to various other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general ledger in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting

• Participate in month-end close processes, including the posting of journal entries and accruals, and the preparation of monthly reporting packages

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P& L variance flux analyses

• Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and the annual budget

• Review and monitor Accounts Receivable balances

• Serve as a backup to the Accounting Manager when required

• Ensure punctuality in attendance and meeting deadlines

• Undertake other departmental tasks as necessary. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Experienced in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experienced in using QuickBooks

• Knowledgeable in using SAP software
