Position Summary

The Distribution Inventory Analyst is responsible for analyzing, tracking & recommending inventory strategies to maximize distribution efficiencies and revenue when supporting AE indirect customers

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the distribution sales team to provide strategic support for the distribution channel

• Analyze inventory trends to propose adjustment on distribution stock levels.

• Analyze demand for the ‘optimal mix’ of inventory (ABC product strategy), balancing availability, & avoiding excess stock held at the distributor.

• Forecast future inventory needs based on historical data, business & forecast trends.

• Provide comprehensive reports to the distribution sales team facilitating distribution order & inventory planning.

• Report key performance indicators (KPI’s), helping the team understand performance for the distribution channel inventory strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or any related course

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with large data sets.

• Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

• Excellent Excel skills, including the usage of pivot tables and formulas.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
