What you will do:

  • Manages & oversees the staff at our Youth Village - This includes our QC Junction Cafe, Repurposed Thrift Store & Barber Shop.

  • Develop Community Partnerships & Relationship

  • Help to raise public awareness on issues relevant to the community

  • Develop and implement strategies as it relates to Youth Village; develop, coordinate and implement plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities

  • Become a liaison with interested groups and individuals in setting up new services

  • Coordinate and lead a series of major initiatives and project management for the organization

  • Key support role in strategic plan implementation, performs planning and research activities related to marketing and developing new area of business, develops referral markets.

  • Supports and participates in overall system strategic planning efforts. Specific duties include: creating executive briefings and position papers; supporting the Board of Trustees along with the system strategic planning forums; lead strategic planning activities and creating planning documents for ROP clients.

  • Develop and conduct quantitative and qualitative market research projects that support client decision making. The director is primarily responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting survey research and focus group projects. Specific duties include instrument development, data analysis, project report writing, delivery and management of vendor relationships.

  • Provides decision support for senior leadership based on demographics, market segmentation and utilization of findings to drive product, service and operational improvement. Conducts periodic assessments of market position and that of competitors, including the development, maintenance, and utilization of pertinent databases and informative sources to support and complement initiative and enhance understanding of market position.

  • Must be able to work independently and with senior executives to structure and complete internal “consulting engagements” with minimal supervision.

To be considered you should have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • At least 6 years of supervisory/management experience working in a business development capacity

  • Previous experience with the Juvenile Justice System and schools; preferred.

Qualifications

Experience

Required

  • Exp with Juvenile Justice System/School

  • 6 years of Management Exp
