About the Role:

The Admin Experience team is a critical component of Confluent’s enterprise solution, enabling clients to administer and operate their cloud instances. Our mission is to build the tools, features, and processes to maximize their productivity and success within the Confluent ecosystem.

In this role, you will build engaging and insightful products for managing and administering large scale distributed real-time data streams. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will build products and features that have a direct impact on our customers productivity and satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

• Build and revise features based on user requirements and feedbackTriage bugs and troubleshoot production issues.

• Work with product managers, designers, and backend developers to iteratively develop new features.

• Create and analyze user engagement metrics and run A/B tests to make data-driven improvements to the UI.

• Plan for testability, code coverage, and write unit tests.

• Participate in the code review processes.

• Participate in our on-call ops rotation.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field or a related technical field in 2022-2023 or January - May 2024

• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures with proficiency in at least one of these languages: JavaScript, C, C++, Python, Go

• Self-motivated and able to drive projects with mentorship and project requirements

• Exposure to modern web application frontend development (JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, React/Flux, Gulp/Grunt/Webpack/Babel, etc)

• Our stack: Typescript/React, REST & GraphQL, Jest, Continuous Integration, Feature flags, Dependency bots.
