Bluehawk is actively seeking a Mid-level Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, data engineering, and statistical techniques to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role involves conducting exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, and building machine learning solutions to enhance decision-making processes. The Data Scientist will play a crucial role in developing AI tools and data-driven strategies that drive business outcomes.

The work will performed primarily at DCSA headquarters, Stafford, VA, and occasionally at regional field office locations as requested by DCSA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis.

• Utilize scientific techniques to correlate data and present findings through graphical, written, visual, and verbal narratives.

• Proactively gather information from various sources, analyze datasets, and develop AI tools to automate processes.

• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms, such as recommendation engines and automated lead scoring systems.

• Perform statistical analysis, apply data mining techniques, and create high-quality prediction systems.

• Expertise in data visualization using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and others.

• Proficiency in major data science languages such as R and Python.

• Manage and merge disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL.

• Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, machine learning, and automated predictive analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Proven track record of successfully applying statistical and machine-learning techniques to real-world problems.

• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience with graphical applications.

• Proficiency in programming languages like R, Python, and SQL.

• Experience in managing and analyzing large datasets from disparate sources.

• Familiarity with data mining algorithms and statistical methods.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into easily understood insights
