What you can expect to do here:

  1. Supporting the assessment and identification of training needs :

  2. Collaborate with the Specialist, HSE Training and key stakeholders and experts to identify the HSE knowledge gaps and training needs.

  3. Organize and schedule surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify these needs.

  4. Assisting the preparation of training courses and instructional materials :

  5. Input training content in engaging “container” (presentation, manual, handouts, aids, interactive e-learning modules, etc.) to be use for training sessions.

  6. Periodically update training material to ensure that they reflect changes in program.

  7. Schedule training sessions and prepare and order educational materials.

  8. Ensure instructors have the necessary resources for effective training.

  9. Assist in sourcing and setting up external HSE training providers as required by the business

  10. Marketing training opportunities :

  11. Promote available training sessions to employees.

  12. Provide necessary information about the training content, schedule, and benefits.

  13. Staying current with training methods

  14. Act as main contact in HSE for all related LMS requests

  15. Keep up to date with education principles and new training techniques.

  16. Ensure training methods are align with best practices.

  17. Improve training offer :

  18. Collect trainers and trainees’ feedback on the training material, training media & instructor.

  19. Evaluate the impact of training on employee skills and update the key performance indicators.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • 1-2 years' experience with document control process, and coordination of training

  • Experience in writing learning outcomes, developing competency statements, and developing HSE training is an asset.

  • Ability to research and analyze information to identify trends, draft content, and procedures etc.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and under tight deadlines.

  • IT literate with highly competent use of:

  • Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Articulate

  • Learning Management System (Oracle Learning platform, preferred).

  • Bilingualism is preferred.

Decisions/Influences (which decisions does the incumbent own and which does the incumbent influence?)

  • Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities.

  • Decisions are made within documented parameters and instruction around professional guidelines and compliance requirements.

  • Decisions have a modest impact on results, productivity, and/or expenditures.

  • Errors can typically be easily rectified by the next level management.

Deliverables & Key Performance Indicators:

  • Update the LMS with last revision of training.

  • Maintain links in existing internal e-learning course.

  • Organize the Onboarding and SSW training sessions schedule.

  • Update key performance indicators linked to HSE training.

  • Assign course as required.

  • Organiser external course sessions to support operations.
