DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

The Warranty Claim Associate provides essential support to warranty operations by processing claims, managing warranty information, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all related data. The role requires effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to process claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process warranty-related information in relevant databases with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Respond to requests in a timely manner, conducting due diligence checks before updating records.

  • Communicate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for processing warranty claims.

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address warranty claims, perform root cause analysis, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Apply electronic service tools to diagnose issues, interpret results, and determine next steps for resolving service events.

  • Analyze customer issues to verify root causes of failure and determine eligibility for warranty coverage.

  • Submit claims using proper documentation to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in line with regulatory requirements.

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in warranty claims management or a related field.

  • Licensing may be required to ensure compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in managing claims settlement processes with OEMs, suppliers, or dealers.

  • Knowledge of warranty cost management and data sharing processes.

  • Strong experience in preparing and distributing MIS reports on warranty data.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and MIS systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Claims Settlement : Experience in handling warranty claims involving multiple OEMs, suppliers, and dealers.

  • Data Sharing and Reporting : Proficient in sharing data with cross-functional teams, warranty cost management, and release procedures.

  • MIS Report Preparation : Skilled in preparing and releasing weekly and monthly reports related to warranty data.

  • Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and departments to ensure transparency in claims and warranty cost processes.

  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills for understanding warranty data trends and cost impacts.

  • Communication : Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
