This role in summary

Delivery of rich quality stable Android applications for Whirlpool products

Your responsibilities will include

• Contribute to the overall implementation of smart products working in scrum agile team

• Follow and implement sound software development practices

• Ensures adherance to coding standards and procedures.

• Participate in functional, technical, and code review

• Ensures Test coverage though automated unit tests,

• Follow sound software development practices including continuous integration, nightly build & regression testing, test driven design

• Work in Agile and Waterfall environments.

• Investigate and apply emerging technologies and new design approaches

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics / E&TC / relevant field; preferred specialization in Embedded Systems

BE 3-6 yrs, ME 0-3 yrs

Preferred skills and experiences

• Android application software features towards the successful delivery of projects, adhering to the Agile / Waterfall SDLC process

• Unit testing & design documentation of implemented software

• Test Automation solutions (Cucumber,espresso) for Android applications or embedded software.

• Application performance analysis

• Software module design following requirements

• Software architecture and usage documentation

Additional information

• Experienced in Kotlin or Java for Android development.

• Experienced in embedded system development experience (nice to have)

• Experienced with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Jetpack).

• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or Robolectric.

• Experience with Espresso, UI Automator, or other Android testing frameworks.
