SHERPA X is Siemen’s strategic Digital Transformation initiative whose core goals are to standardize end to end processes and ERP landscapes per Business Type to S/4 HANA. Your role is immensely important driving SHERPA X from IT HUB Pune.

We are looking for an SAP Test Manager

You’ll make a difference by:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor and/or Higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields

• Strong leadership and coordination skills with a proven track record of success in Test Lead roles within SAP projects, consistently delivering on time and ensuring quality.

• Experience in SAP testing across Agile projects.

• Hands on experience with a broad range of Test Management and Test Automation tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Worksoft Certify.

• Communication and collaboration skills, accustomed to working closely with all the E2E product owners to establish and maintain robust professional relationships.

• Committed to continuous learning and development, with a passion for integrating new technologies and innovative methods to optimize Test Management.

Core Skills and Experience:

• At least 8-12 years of experience in SAP Test Management with having good knowledge of SAP Business processes e.g. Lead to Cash, Design to Operate, Procure to Pay and Record to Report.

• Able to develop a comprehensive test strategy and test plan. This includes defining test objectives, scope, resources, and timelines. Test Managers need to create a clear roadmap for the testing process.

• Assemble and consult the team of testers in each increment. (Agile Methodology)

• Collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners for each E2E processes to understand project requirements and design effective test cases and test scenarios. These should cover functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

• Oversee and support the execution of test cases. Monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that testing is conducted according to the plan that may involve manual testing, automated testing, or a combination of both.

• Evaluate the feasibility of test automation through Worksoft Certify tool and, if applicable, lead efforts to automate repetitive and critical test cases.

• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and any other relevant testing artifacts in Solman.

• Identify and assess risks related to the testing process and work with stakeholders to mitigate these risks. This includes planning for contingencies in case of unexpected issues. Work closely together with the responsible defect managers in the program.

• Continuously assess and improve the testing process. This may involve adopting new testing tools, methodologies, or best practices.

• Bilingual German would be a plus.

• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people from different Functions, Businesses, and teams.

• Comfortable and experienced in working with Cross Cultural teams, regions and countries.

• Proactiveness in terms of analysis of business needs, problem solving, and delivery of solutions is highly appreciated.
