Cummins Inc. Project Coordinator - Service in Pune, India

DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction : Assesses customer needs, gathers pertinent information, and opens work orders. Provides quotes, develops claims, prepares repair plans, schedules work, and provides status updates to customers on repair work in the shop.

  • Diagnostic and Repair Planning : Develops diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans by determining the length of repair based on parts and labor availability. Reviews diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans with the Service Supervisor prior to customer contact. Works with the Service Supervisor to schedule shop job assignments.

  • Technical Service Support : Supports Cummins Sales and Services North America business in executing end-to-end technical service events (e.g., fluid sampling polishing, scheduling service visits, work order processing, invoicing, quote creation, customer communication).

  • Project Management : Serves as a resource on projects and work assignments. Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues. Monitors and communicates project status to the project team.

  • Administrative Support : Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support. Provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines. Assists with managing project risk and uses quality tools to identify areas of risk.

  • Documentation and Communication : Documents and shares team learnings with other teams. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records. Monitors measures and communicates with the Project Manager on the status of specific projects and assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications:

  • Education : College, university, or equivalent degree required.

  • Experience : Minimal level of relevant work experience required.

  • Project Scope Management : Manages a list of project deliverables using recommended project management tools and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Communication : Very strong written and oral communication skills.

  • IT Proficiency : Comfortable working with various IT systems.

  • Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Team Leadership : Experience in leading a team.

  • Data Handling : Ability to handle large data sets.

  • Advanced Excel and Power BI : Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI are a must.

  • Shift Flexibility : Ability to work in the 3rd shift (Night Shift).
