Principal Software Engineer – Frontend Web Development

Required Skills:

• B. Tech or B.E in Computer Science, Software Engineering with programming experience or relevant training and/or experience.

• 10+ years of Hands-on experience in software/web application development, specifically JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML 5, CSS, React, Redux, Node.js, RxJs

• Experience in architecting frontend web apps into modular components

• Solid understanding of Responsive Design, Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Container-View pattern and advanced programming concepts

• Hands-on experience in putting together single-page applications and micro-frontends with React

• Participate and contribute to discovery and experimentation efforts

• Leading complex projects involving cross-functional dependencies

• Experience in UX/UI design concepts

• Experience in consuming web APIs and services using GraphQL, REST, Swagger, and Postman

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Platform or consuming Azure services

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git source control, and CI/CD pipeline

• Demonstrate the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback

• Mentor team members as required

• Lead and manage end-user escalations to a successful resolution

• Take ownership of the functionality you write and the designs you implement.

• Ability to build secure software, with proven knowledge of web security and mitigation techniques.

• Experience in frontend automated testing frameworks

• Should be able to collaborate in an open, multi-disciplinary, and globally dispersed team environment

• Should be able to independently come up with suggestions/ideas/workflows for complex problems

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in IoT is a major plus

• Experience in Angular is a plus

• Experience with AI ML is a plus

• Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills

• Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually as well as part of a team

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

• Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches and automation

• Knowledge of testing methodologies applicable to SaaS applications

• Experience in 3D CAD application domain is a plus

• Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
