Position Overview
This is a fulltime Role reporting to the Sr Manager of Technical sales. You will be based onsite in Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi, India and will require the travel up to 50% of the time . This is an Individual contributor role ,however the role would require leading virtual teams spanning geographies and technology specializations. As a Partner Technology Specialist, you will enable and support partners in the technical pre-sales process for partner-led opportunities. You will help our partners succeed.
Responsibilities
Develop partner technical sales capacity and support the Partner Sales Manager in partner business planning, technical skill assessment, and capacity planning
Identify partner capacity and capability gaps to drive curated enablement for partners
Coach Autodesk Partners on product demonstration techniques and tools
Influence product sales through technical thought leadership during business development activities with the channel ecosystem
Own and orchestrate the hand-over of projects from the presales phase to deployment
Support partners in their transformation journey to build repeatable solutions and build high-value service capabilities
Engage with Autodesk Partners on selective, well-qualified and partner-led opportunities that are orchestrated by the Partner Sales Manager
Experience using a CRM software system
Manage full sales cycles from prospecting to closing
Promote the value proposition in presentations and demos with prospects and customers
Understand the prospect's needs and market solutions which align to those needs
Minimum Qualifications
A Degree in Engineering from a reputed institute
Knowledge of the Autodesk product platforms like Inventor, DelCAM, Fusion, Factory Design Utilities, Vault
Knowledge of Industry technologies like Dassault systems Catia, Solidworks, Siemens NX, Solid Edge and PTC Creo
7+ years of experience in the AEC industry
Knowledge of Autodesk solutions for design like Revit, Civil3D, and Autodesk construction cloud
Experience of BIM and industry workflows
Prior experience in Partner facing presales/Technical Sales Specialist roles would be an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities and produce quality deliverables
Develop good working relationships with partner teams at all levels
Seek ways to expand technical knowledge
Assume responsibility/accountability for delivery of technical account management
Adapt to customer/partner needs and culture
Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect
Promote the value proposition in presentations and demos with prospects and customers
