Technical Project Manager
Part of global organization that delivers impact to multiple businesses within Philips. The role manages high impact, complex transfer projects that enables Philips to reduce risk, improve profitability, align with Philips’ strategic supply base and optimize supply chain flexibility. The primary function within this role is to execute fast-paced, high quality transfer projects and drive technical ideation of productivity projects working with R&D, Operations, PE & CM counterparts.
Qualification Profile:
BE/BTech in Mechanical engineering as a base and grown into project management.
5 to 15 years’ experience in a high-tech industry with a focus on working with suppliers for design changes & product launches
PMP certification is a preference
Strong data analytics skills (excel, project manager etc.,)
Six sigma Green belt/ Black belt certification is a preference
Experience in handling multi-functional teams (operations/factory, R&D, procurement, IWD etc.,)
Experience in LCM domain
Experience as a Design Transfer Leader
Experience with cost engineering and management.
Experience in design cycle of high tech electronic components, assemblies, and/or electro-mechanical systems
Strong project management skills is a must with ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, across functions and organizational layers; proven ability to manage relationships at all org levels.
Knowing and understanding broad business perspective.
Knowledge of Supply management strategies and tools.
Demonstrated ability in working in a complex/global environment.
Prior experience in data analytical tools, dashboard creation for program management are preferred
Prior experience in global stakeholder management, business acumen
Mechanical Designer – Simulation
Qualification Profile:
M.Tech / ME in Mechanical engineering with 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in simulations of mechanical sub-systems & systems, system packaging
Expertise in simulation of complex subassemblies involving fabricated, machined, casting and sheet metal parts.
Expertise in simulation of system packaging optimization involving corrugated box, wood, dampener, fabricated and sheet metal parts.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art in programming and design methods & tools (Simulation – ANSYS, Hyper mesh) along with pre-processing and Post-processing of ANSYS.
Expertise on results interpretations with engineering fundamentals. Expertise on various analyses types through simulation and its results interpretation- Static, Dynamic, Harmonic, Thermal, etc
Knowledge of reliability required
Analytical, creative, and abstract thinker.
Ability to support and direct the Engineers in a subgroup.
Ability to communicate on different levels and is aware of the means and the effect of communication.
Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently
System thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related area
Ability to present ideas and to convince project team members

Mechanical Designer
Qualification Profile:
Completed engineering studies at University level; BE/BTech/ME/M-Tech in Mechanical
5-15 or more years of experience in Plastic Product design, Sheetmetal Design and Resolving issues in tools for Medical Devices / Home Appliances / Personal Health (Power Irrigator/Whitening Product/Power Tooth Brush)
Strong understanding of physics and hand calculation of the mechanical components for deciding strength, stiffness etc.
Proven design engineering and project management experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience supporting global projects
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word required
Product Engineering, i.e. modules and parts in both metals and plastics; satisfying our esthetical, functional and manufacturability requirements (e.g. DFM / DFA). For AC/AD/PDLM and MLD projects.
Exposure to CAD (Creo and Equivalent), Windchill PDM / PLM for managing lifecycle of the components.
Tolerance design and 2D drawing creation (part specification)
Familiar with latest engineering design and methods, tools, and processes.
Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently with timely guidance.
Result oriented team player.
Excellent communication skills and Positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Experience In working with ISTA standards & other Packaging standards
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word required
Strong English written and verbal communication skills required
Mechanical Designer – Plastics
responsible for driving meaningful and innovative product development, generating ideas/concepts in feature development to improve quality and reduce cost, as well as performing the role of a technical lead in taking the product development through manufacturing release while transferring products between suppliers.
Qualification Profile:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical engineering
5 to 15 years of experience in design and development of electromechanical products, mechanical sub-systems & systems (on end-to-end medical device or equivalent Automobile/Industrialproducts)
Strong knowledge on plastics, mold flow analysis, structural design, CAD (3D modeling & 2D drawings), and manufacturing processes. Experience in SolidWorks & FEA analysis is preferred.
Good at hand calculation of the design
Experience in DFM/DFA/DFMEA and latest engineering tools and processes.
Working knowledge of IEC 60601 standards is preferred.
