Primary Purpose of Job:

To continue the growth of our buildings division, Hydrock now Stantec are looking to appoint a BIM Technicians to join our Pune team. This role will include working with our MEP buildings team in the UK to help deliver the BIM/Revit outputs. This will include work from conceptual stages all the way through to construction across multiple different sectors and project types.

Key Accountabilities:

• Production of 2D deliverables using software such as AutoCAD and Revit

• Production of 3D engineering models within Revit

• Clash detection and model coordination.

• Engage with Hydrock, now Stantec staff working on projects to help develop solutions to project information model issues

Competencies:

• The candidate should be fully competent in using Autodesk products such as Revit, Navisworks etc.

• Complete Mechanical, Plumbing & Firefighting general arrangement 3D models and drawings for plans, single line diagrams, sections, elevations in Revit/AutoCAD with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of MEP coordination principles

• Ability to perform clash detection and report issues to the team

• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines design-changes and model reviews.

• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360

• Knowledge of ISO 19650

Person Specifications:

• Engineering Diploma or ITI in Mechanical.

• 3+ minimum of relevant career experience using Revit MEP

• Relevant IT skills/computer literate.

• Good command of English (communication and writing skills).

• Proactive with a positive mindset

• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
