Junior Shop Manager: Electronic Engine System

Description

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.

Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.

Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.

Follows all process documentation and quality procedures.

Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

Performs quality inspections.

Delivery

Performs the skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.

Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.

Repairs and maintains equipment.

Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.

Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet business goals.

Work with peers and support staff to:

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

-Responsible for inspection & reconditioning of electronic engines fuel pump assembly, injectors and electronic parts i.e. ECM, Actuators, Sensors, wire-harness.

-Troubleshooting of electronic engine system.

-Coordinating with daily, weekly and monthly production plan activities.

-Coordinating with Quality & Shop operation.

-Participate in functional process improvement.

-Work towards TBWS (Team Based Work System) culture in the team.

-Work in shift basis.

-Continuous improvement through Kaizen.

-Maintaining good housekeeping at work place. project through Kaizen, A3 & 7-Step etc.
