Philips Industrial IOT IT-OT Developer in Pune, India

In this role, you will work closely together with the manufacturing and engineering organizations in Royal Philips to improve manufacturing processes equipment by implementing Industrial IoT solutions. We are looking for an experienced IT-OT designer, who is eager to gain and expand knowledge on Azure cloud and IoT.

Your role:

  • Providing, based on (reference) architecture definition, IT OT designs and implements these.

  • Designing, coding, documenting, testing (automated), maintaining and deploying high quality working software

  • Supporting the building of SW development competences of the team, supporting DevOps in deploying software

  • Keeps abreast of technical knowledge by studying and implementing state-of-the-art programming techniques and development tools as well as industrial connectivity solutions, participating in educational opportunities, participating in communities of practice, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks

  • Provides technical solutions that conform to requirements with a strong focus on end-users, high quality (QMS/regulatory standards), performance, safety and security

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in (industrial) engineering

  • Typically, more than 5 years of in development of Industrial Internet of Things solutions as part of a digital production systems

  • Has minimum 5 years of software development engineering experience; must be strong and have experience in the area of .Net/C#

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.

  • Profound knowledge of IT/OT connectivity protocols, in particular OPC-UA

  • Knowledge of Industrial networking topology and infrastructure (e.g. edge)m cloud based data solutions and Manufacturing IT security

  • Knowledge on equipment integration with SAP-ME and Azure IoT

  • knowledge of medical industry, including standards and regulatory requirements in Healthcare production equipment including software validation is preferred

  • Combines good analytical skills with good communicator (writing & speech)

  • Experience in working in virtual project teams
