Title: Human Resources ManagerLocation : Pune

The Human Resources Manager is accountable for supporting the Human Resources needs of assigned region, including talent acquisition, employee relations, policy and legal compliance, performance management, employee development, compensation review and employee and management coaching.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Accountable for talent acquisition for assigned region including recruiting strategy development, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer development and preparation, and on-boarding assistance.

  • Coaches leaders to consistently apply policies to facilitate positive employee relations, legal compliance, and a positive company image in the business community.

  • Employee engagement; works closely with management and employees to build morale, increase productivity/retention, keep management informed of employee sentiments/concerns/challenges.

  • Collaborates across the organization to facilitate competency/skill modeling, employee development, succession planning, and performance management for assigned departments.

  • The goal of such collaboration is to assist the organization in driving superior job performance and facilitating talent management activities.

  • Builds effective business partnerships with department managers by developing a solid understanding of the business, business issues and by seeking to develop and/or recommend Human Resources solutions that balance employee needs with departmental goals.

  • Acts as an organizational change agent by continually taking the organization’s pulse regarding change initiatives, remaining up-to-date about tools, techniques, and practices of change management and by assisting with influencing and driving organizational change strategies in support of business strategies.

  • HR operational and administrative tasks. Utilizes tools, systems and resources effectively in order to maintain and analyze employee data, develop solutions and provide support to meet internal customer needs that ensure strong cross-functional communication.

  • This includes but is not limited to HCM, benefits, compensation, and systems such as recruiting, learning management, absence/time off and other HR related systems used to facilitate job accountabilities.

  • Maintains required records for payroll processing, preparing and submitting payroll data and ensuring payroll accuracy.

  • Maintains personnel, HR and payroll files, as well as any other required HR related filing.

  • Works with assigned departments to handle employee relations activities and assist managers with effective employee management tactics and strategies.

  • Maintains in depth knowledge of legal and employment law requirements related to day-today management of employees and HR matters.

  • Actively looks out for opportunities to reduce legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Travels as needed to the different locations in the region and to US Corporate Office.

  • Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.

  • Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.

  • Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.

  • Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.

  • Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.

  • Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels.

  • Extremely confidential and trustworthy.

  • Demonstrates knowledge, experience and understanding of critical job function of the team and people management.

  • Assists management with development of results oriented strategies.

  • Regular attendance at work is an essential part of the job.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Payroll Benefits, Accounts Payable/Receivables, Oracle Fusion, Procurement, Oracle E-Business Suit, General Ledger, HCM, Compensation & Benefits, HR Modules.

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications technical concepts using non-technical language and interact effectively with a diverse team.

  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems and identify effective solutions.

  • Ability to learn by reading various technical and non-technical documentation including Entity Relationship Diagrams, technical white papers and system guides.

  • Foster a positive team environment. Remain professional at all times, manage “up” and take initiative where and when necessary.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will manage. Including:

  • Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor.

  • External candidates: Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position

  • A minimum of 7-10 years professional Human Resources experience is required, preferably in distribution or electronics manufacturing.

  • Previous experience managing other HR staff is desirable.
