We are looking for a Data Analyst for SAP Business Warehouse

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making processes.

  • ABAP Programming: Develop custom ABAP programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Analysis for Office (AFO) to create dynamic and interactive reports for end-users.

  • Query Management: Create and manage queries using SAP BW Query Designer.

  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Data Integration: Manage data integration projects, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.

  • Knowledge in optimization of reports and dashboards for large data extraction

  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing SAP BW and reporting issues.

  • Analysis of Performance issues and optimization of queries and reports.

  • Project Management: Basic skills on working in data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

  • In addition, collaboration with the Data & Integration Team in areas like Snowflake data extraction.

  • Data Analytics using modern AI or ML (machine learning) technologies.

You’ll win us over by:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on SAP BW.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ABAP programming, Analysis for Office (AFO), and SAP BW Query Designer.

  • Data Modeling: Strong ability to design and implement effective data models.

  • Planning: Integrated Planning using SAP BW-IP, ideally experience with IBP

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at business level.

  • Ideally SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA, Certified ABAP Developer, Certified Data Analyst.

  • First experience in the area of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

  • Project Management: First Experiences with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qlik and Power BI.

  • Database Management: Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.

  • High level of self-motivation and team-oriented way of working.

  • Quick comprehension, resilient and assertive.

  • Independent way of working, customer- and service-oriented with high quality standards.

  • Good skills in written and spoken English.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving processs.
