As a Process Engineer, a typical day will include the following: * Design, document, and 3D-print simple mechanical tools and fixtures. * Update 2D factory layouts in AutoCAD; provide production flow best practice feedback. * Support time studies, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and productivity metrics. * Assist with equipment selection and validation to support increased automation. * Assist with improvement projects using Jira, Confluence, and project management skills. * Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. * Understand. This job might for you if you have: * B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Two years' experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing company. * Ability to lead a cross functional team. * Ability to influence others and reach consensus. * Project management experience. * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. * Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements. * Effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills. * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills. * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. * Thorough understanding of the materials used in the industry. Salary Range Data: We anticipate filling this position as a Process Engineer: $66,800 - $104,600 per year. Associate Process Engineer: $58,200 - $91,200 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level.
