As a Power Engineer, a typical day might include the following: Design, prototype, and test systems and components integral to substation switchgears. Maintain a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor and control the power system. Conceive and develop concepts for new product ideas and enhancements. Lead in providing power engineering support for customers & field application engineers. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation and World Class Manufacturing principles. Note: United States Citizenship is required. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
