Research in the Zhang Laboratory will be focused on exploring the function of double-negative T (DN T) cells in antitumor immunity and cancer immunotherapy. DN T cells play a pivotal role in initiating antitumor immune response and shaping tumor microenvironment. Deciphering the underlying mechanism will allow us to develop a new paradigm for cancer immunotherapy. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated scientist to contribute to this exciting research project. This project is funded by an NIH/NCI R01 grant. Responsibilities: • Design and conduct experiments and data analysis. • Draft manuscripts and presentations. • Provide research expertise to assist lab members, including graduate students, undergraduate students, research interns, and technicians as needed. Required Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, such as Immunology, Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields with extensive expertise in molecular biology and cell biology. • Hands-on experience in Immunology and Cancer Biology, such as animal models, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, in vivo and in vitro bioassays. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge and experience in bulk/single-cell RNA Seq and bioinformatics.
