General Responsibilities

•Prepares work schedules and assigns duties to personnel to ensure efficient operation of the unit, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
•Audits records and reports to ensure staff's compliance with standard procedures and best practices.
•Compiles required and special reports (results achieved, statistics and forecast). Creates and revises procedures by analyzing operating practices, establishing strategies, record-keeping systems, forms of control, budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change when needed.
•Ensures all items, including rejects, are handled properly as per established processes and agreements with clients.
•Ensures the reconciliations for the DOL and ASUME agencies and the DOL's Unemployment Returns are processed timely and accurately.
•Conducts staff meetings to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices.
•Trains, coaches and evaluates employees to improve efficiency and ensure conformance to standard procedures and practices, ensuring optimal customer service and compliance with established SLA's.
•Resolves all customer issues or inquiries and channels feedback into process improvements.
•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including planning, assigning and directing work, performance management, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
•Ensures staff/group supervised executes all key controls including but not limited to SOX controls for role as per assigned roles within established procedures and within approved delegation of authority and authorized limits. Responds to and reviews all escalations or deviations that may be brought to his or her attention. Reports any exceptions to established internal controls and documents any employee violations to procedures.
 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

Monday to Friday (7:00 am a 4:00 pm) 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
