Under the supervision of the Deputy Director Public Works, this is an exempt position that provides supervision of streets maintenance crews. The supervisor is responsible for maintenance crews whose responsibilities include but are not limited to: snow removal, constructing, maintaining, repairing, and cleaning streets and alleys, drainage ditches and appurtenant concrete. This position frequently communicates City rules and regulations with citizens. Additionally, the Streets Maintenance Supervisor supervises the inspection of excavations made within the public Right of Way to ensure compliance with the appropriate City Ordinances, and Specifications.\ \ This job description is an overview and is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
