We're hiring a full-time Nursing Supervisor of the Acute Treatment Unit (ATU), to join us at 1302 Chinook Lane in Pueblo.

What You'd Be Doing

As a Nursing Supervisor of ATU you would be working under the supervision of the Director of the Acute Treatment Unit; supervising staff at the ATU. You would also have the distinct opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Health Solutions' professionals to serve individuals and groups.

Specifically, the Nursing Supervisor will:

Providing administrative, clinical, and personnel supervision of ATU program staff in accordance with State rules & regulations on the care & treatment of the mentally ill; Overseeing the designing, implementing and updating of individualized service plans for all clients; Ensuring coordination of the plans with the admitting provider and other team members; Making daily recommendations to the admitting provider regarding diagnostic formulations, impressions, and treatment interventions; Providing care coordination and advocacy services on behalf of clients; Ensuring compliance with State regulations as they apply to an Acute Treatment Unit; Managing incident reports and reporting to the correct governing bodies; and Writing and enforcing policies and procedures as needed or assigned; Tracking and providing training to meet State and Center requirements for the ATU staff in coordination with the Staff Development Coordinator; Conducting employee interviews and overseeing the hiring and terminations of unit staff, as needed; Maintaining competency and proficiency with the Electronic Health Record, and providing up to date information on EHR changes to team and assigned staff, in addition to administrative meetings about company changes in policy and procedures; Provide formal supervision including written performance reviews of staff under the direction of this position in accordance with Center policy and procedures. Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with other community agencies; Participating in clinical administrator on call rotation after-hours, weekends and holidays; Providing administrative/supervisory coverage in the absence of other program supervisors, as assigned: Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the Program Director of the Acute Treatment Unit. Physical requirements include the following: Frequently remains active with clients for prolonged periods Frequently moves within and between facilities Occasionally moves equipment and/or materials up to 40 pounds Frequently exposed to stressful or emergent situations Constantly communicates with clients and other staff members Occasionally exposed to communicable diseases or bodily fluids Frequently uses computer and other office equipment to enter, manage or look up data What You'll Like About Us

ASN, BSN r MSN with a RN license in good standing At least five years of behavioral health experience is required, preferably in a residential or inpatient program. Experience working with a multidisciplinary team. Extensive knowledge of the theories, modalities and techniques of clinical treatment, with particular emphasis on experience in the treatment of individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. Must have computer skills and ability to use data to guide changes with a team. Excellence in written and oral communications is a must. Valid Colorado driver's license and access to transportation during work hours is required. Ability to work variable shifts as needed (24/7 facility) What We'd Like to See in You The Nice-to-Haves
