Are you ready to make an impact in an innovative manufacturing environment? We're looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer, Finishing Department to join our dynamic team at our Pueblo facility.

This role is pivotal in monitoring and enhancing the processes and equipment within our Finishing department, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What YOU Will Do:

• Actively monitor key process parameters and take appropriate action when required

• Perform statistical analyses to identify process and equipment trends and take action

• Work with other departments and engineers to improve equipment, processes, safety and cost savings

• Propose and manage medium sized projects (<$250k) at the moderate to complex level

• Troubleshoot and repair issues with PLC automated equipment

• Ensure department documentation is clear and accurate (SOP’s, work instructions, engineering forms, etc.)

• Track engineering requests through equipment and processes

• Take an active role in meeting department and site CORE requirements

• Conduct on-the-job training as required for new and existing employees

• Maintain a high commitment to quality, thoroughness and efficiency in all work aspects

• Observe and follow all quality, environmental, health and safety procedures

• Comply with all other policies and procedures

• Hands on approach to keeping equipment running

• Actively support 24/7 operations

• Other duties as assigned

• 5% travel between facilities as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• 6 months experience with Excel and Minitab

Qualifications We Prefer

• 2 years of prior relevant manufacturing experience

• Experience with robotic and PLC controlled equipment

• Project management experience

• Experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC logic

• Experience with Sequel reports

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
