The Colorado State University Pueblo Office of Financial Management provides financial data and information to users; prepares financial reports including trends and projections for internal and external users; safeguards financial assets; ensures regulatory compliance; and provides quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.

Description of Job
The CSU Pueblo Budget Analyst is a full-time position that reports to the CSU Pueblo Senior Director of the Office of Financial Management (OFM). This position will:
Serve as the collaborative lead and subject matter expert for budget formulation and reporting across campus
Track and perform budget-to-actual reporting across the campus
Champion the adoption of the new Questica budgeting system
Lead reporting efforts out of Questica, Power BI, and other reporting tools
Primary Duties:
Provides leadership and assistance in budget and finance reporting for all university departments.
Coordinates with all departments in preparing annual budgets
Advises and performs necessary budget adjustments for all departments
Coordinates uniform financial reporting efforts across campus
Prepares monthly budget-to-actual reports across campus
Maintains staffing budget for E&G
Assists in the preparation of the CSU Board of Governor’s documents for incremental budget and tuition and fee schedules
Chart of accounts management
Provides guidance for the university’s account structure
Follows fiscal rules and policy for creating and editing accounts
Ancillary Duties:
Other duties as assigned to include assisting other business operations within the department.
Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience in a position or activity that required intermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in position-based budgeting and in the use, importance, and organization of a financial chart of accounts
Experience with, or commitment to, working in a diverse work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge or experience with Kuali Financial System and Questica
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in Higher Education
