Part-time One Employer Policy

Any part-time employee of the university shall not have concurrent employment for any other Church-affiliated employer unless specifically excepted. No part time employee of any other Church-affiliated employer shall be offered concurrent employment for the for the university unless specifically excepted.

Description

This position may result in multiple hires. YFitness classes are offered in the evenings, during the noon hour, and Saturday mornings. Possible exercise formats include: Barre, Cardio Kickboxing, Cycling, High Fitness©, HIIT, Insanity©, Pilates, POUND©, STRONG©, Weight Training, Yoga, and/or Zumba©.

Preferred Experience

Background in Dance, Gymnastics, and/or functional movement. One-year professional work experience in teaching. Upon Employment, must provide license(s)/certification(s) as required per class format or discipline.

Duties/Expectations

• Teach scheduled class(es), including beginning/ending on time. Must have regular attendance at scheduled classes.
• Prepare equipment, choreography, and music as appropriate for each class in alignment with Student Wellness guidelines. Provide quality workouts, including demonstrating and cueing proper form and technique.
• Motivate and encourage students, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and university policies.
