An experienced ethics and compliance manager on our dedicated team of legal professionals will work with a fantastic group of ethics and compliance professionals, both at the corporate office and across Textron's global locations, to advance Textron's leading ethics and compliance program.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting on Textron's ethics and compliance program to Textron's executive leadership team

  • Monitoring and managing reports made to the Textron HelpLine, our reporting hotline, and ensuring that all reported matters are appropriately investigated and documented in a timely manner

  • Coordinating annual ethics and compliance risk assessments and managing the ethics and compliance team's contribution to Textron's organizational risk-management system

  • Serving as the subject matter expert for our hotline and online training platforms, with the ability to assign access, run reports, create training modules and certifications, troubleshoot issues and train new personnel on the platforms

  • Preparing for and leading informative and engaging Ethics & Compliance Working Group meetings with compliance professionals from across the global organization

  • Managing our annual compliance certification and training campaigns

  • Developing, launching and analyzing the results of our periodic culture of compliance survey

  • Serving as an ambassador for the enterprise ethics and compliance program to Textron's Business Unit personnel, including assisting them in preparing their annual action plans, assigning training and responding to reports

  • Managing our day-to-day relationships with our various compliance vendors

  • Maintaining an awareness of new developments and decisions relating to ethics and compliance topics and communicating those new developments and decisions to the broader enterprise

  • Serving as a subject matter expert in the areas of meals, gifts, travel, entertainment, conflicts of interest and similar areas

  • Providing informative and engaging live training on assigned compliance topics

  • Conducting internal investigations, as required, and preparing investigation reports of findings and conclusions with respect to the matters investigated

  • Managing and overseeing the work of a compliance specialist/analyst

  • Performing other duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Three years of relevant work experience with compliance or related program management experience

  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) Certification is desirable but not required

  • Knowledge and experience with government contracting and defense industry initiatives a plus

  • Prior experience with compliance audits or internal investigations preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This is an in-office position that allows for regular engagement with the team to foster collaboration, collegiality and communication. Occasional travel is required.
